Abstract: Modern-day renewable energy sources lack the power storage at an affordable cost. Most renewable energy sources generate most of the energy during the day. The intermittency of the operation of many renewable energy sources naturally encourages the government to rely more on fossil fuels due to the unavailability to procure an on-demand power source that runs all day. Aligned with my research that aimed to improve the efficiency and power output of various renewable energy resources (i.e. photovoltaic cells, hydroelectric generators, etc.), this research contributes to developing an alternative renewable energy source that may practically run for years without any intervention. I aimed to construct a renewable source model incorporating electromagnetic induction using the perpetual motion of a permanent magnet through a solenoid to induce a considerable amount of current.
